i see a lot on the whole “Scott needs to grow up before he can handle the responsibility of being an Alpha” argument, but for whatever reason i never see that argument directed at any of the other characters
like where’s the argument that Derek needs to grow up before he can be the Alpha he wants everyone to think he is? where’s the argument that Stiles needs to grow up and stop pushing his feelings at Lydia in the hopes that she’ll return them? why is the character who has done the most consistent growing up in the show the one who is constantly told he needs to grow even more before the fans will be happy?
whether you want to acknowledge it or not, Scott is recognized as the main character of the show by the people who write the show, hence the title “Teen Wolf” (◡‿◡✿)
and whether you like it or not, Scott is going to become an alpha and a fantastic leader because that is actually the goal of the show, for Scott to progress to that point (◡‿◡✿)
so all your bitching is literally moot (◕‿◕✿)
